The last two years have been spent researching and reorganizing the herd for higher show quality and production. We are very excited to see how this year's kids turn out!
So in looking at goats to purchase I have decided many do not know how to take pictures of their goats. I came across a site that offers insight.
http://www.greengablesmininubians.com/thegoatmentor/articles/taking-good-pictures.html And yes I am just a guilty about not having the right pictures up for my website. Maybe next year when udders are full once again. Exciting weekend a week ago. Out buck Patriot swept three shows in one day to earn his permanent championship. Check out our buck page for pictures.
I was going to wait until January first to start this but alas I can not wait. The bucks got pulled off the does today, and everyone looks pregnant. As I gazed upon the does I wished I had more pregnant mama's but time will take care of that. I think I am just sad because yesterday we had to put down my son's first show doe Beauty, and it was a difficult thing. You rationalize it but then emotions take over and good luck with that. |
